PinSeeker mode uses Bushnell's patented technology to help you zero in on your target and avoid capturing background objects by mistake, while Scan mode allows you to pan your view across the course and get a continuous distance readout. When in PinSeeker mode, the V2 reads the distance to the closest object and ignores trees and other objects in the background.
