The Bushnell Yardage Pro XGC+ is Bushnell's latest golf GPS device. Small, light and easy to operate, the XGC+ provides full color illustrations of each hole which automatically zoom and rotate to match your position on the course. Each hole includes several pre-mapped targets, and a moveable targeting cursor allows you to find the distance to any point on the course. Additional features include a shot distance calculator and the ability to keep track of scores and statistics.
The Yardage Pro XGC+ does not use touchscreen navigation. It is controlled by a set of buttons, which are well designed and easy to use. The screen is bright and easily readable in all weather conditions.
The Yardage Pro XGC+ comes with over 16,000 preloaded courses. It should be noted, however, that the preloaded courses only include distance information to pre-mapped points; the full map of each course will need to be downloaded from http://www.igolf.com/. This will require you to register for an iGolf account, which is free for the first year. After the first year, an annual fee of $34.99 is required to maintain your account.
