The Bushnell Tour V2 Slope Edition is a solid, compact laser range finder with vertically mounted optics. It features the same optics and external design as the basic Tour V2 with one key difference - the addition of Bushnell's patented Slope Technology.
Knowing how far to hit the ball is crucial to making a good golf shot, but this can be complicated by elevation. If your target is above or below where you're standing, you'll need to take that into account when setting up your shot. Misjudge the effect of the slope and you'll be left watching in dismay as your ball lands short in the bunker or sails over the green and into that nasty rough on the other side. Bushnell's Slope Technology takes the guesswork out and gives you a quick LCD readout of the distance to your target along with the degree of incline or decline and the adjusted distance based on the slope. You'll always know exactly how far any given shot will play.
The Bushnell Tour V2 Slope Edition offers the same advantages as the basic model: 5x magnification, an adjustable eyepiece for clearer viewing, and Bushnell's PinSeeker technology to help you isolate your target from objects in the background. The Slope Technology can be a valuable aid, but be aware that it may not be considered acceptable in some circles. Many organized tournaments will not allow the use of devices which compensate for slope; this is why Bushnell offers two different versions of the Tour V2.
