The Bushnell Pro 1600 is Bushnell's most advanced laser range finder for golf, and the Slope Edition includes Bushnell's patented Slope Technology to automatically compensate for an uphill or downhill shot. Knowing the distance to your target is crucial, but the shot may actually play shorter or longer if you're looking uphill or downhill to your target. Trying to compensate for a difference in elevation can be tricky and is a regular source of frustration for many golfers. Using Bushnell's Slope Technology, the Pro 1600 displays the distance to any target along with the slope angle and compensated distance. This will allow you to select a club, relax and concentrate on your swing, knowing that you only need to worry about executing the shot.

Aside from the inclusion of Slope Technology, this version of the Bushnell Pro 1600 is identical to the Tournament Edition. It features Bushnell's PinSeeker Technology which, when enabled, automatically senses when multiple objects are being picked up and gives you only the distance to the nearest target. Trees and other objects in the background are ignored. When not in PinSeeker mode, The 1600 will present a continuous distance readout for all objects captured, allowing you to quickly scan across a section of the course.

The main advantages of the Pro 1600 series are its 7x magnification and bright, clear field of view. This allows it to perform particularly well at ranges greater than 200 yards, where most other range finders become increasingly difficult to use. The simple, intuitive design and easy-to-read LCD display are common to all the Bushnell range finders.
